1.The methods, easiest first
Method | Exchanges | What you do | What it grants | What it never grants | Off switch |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
Managed sub-account About 15 minutes; no key changes hands. | KuCoin, OKX, Bybit, Binance | Create a sub-account under your own account, fund it, and bind it to our account ID through the exchange’s managed sub-account program. | Trading on that sub-account only. You see the equity at any time. | Withdrawals or transfers. The exchange blocks them for the manager. | Unbind the sub-account. On KuCoin that also invalidates every key on it. |
Trade-only API key About 10 minutes. | Kraken, Gate, MEXC, and any of the above | Create a key in your account with reading and trading on, withdrawals and transfers off, restricted to the IP addresses we send you. Hand it over on the connect page of your dashboard. | Read balances and orders; place and cancel orders. | Withdrawals, transfers, or anything from an address that is not ours. The key is encrypted in your browser before it leaves; our database never holds it in clear. | Delete the key. We stop within one refresh. |
Agent wallet Under 5 minutes. | Hyperliquid | Approve one agent address with a single signature from your own wallet, from the connect page of your dashboard. | Placing and cancelling orders. Expires on the date you see when signing. | Withdrawals or transfers; Hyperliquid enforces this for every agent. We never ask for a private key or seed phrase. | Revoke the agent on the Hyperliquid API page. |
One-click connect A minute. On request. These are exchange partner programs we enrol in per client. | Kraken, OKX, Bybit, Binance | Click Connect in your dashboard and approve on the exchange’s own page. The exchange issues us a trading-scoped key; you type nothing into our site. | Trading scope only, as shown on the exchange’s consent screen. | Withdrawal scope. These programs do not offer it to partners. | Revoke the connection in your exchange settings. |
2.What is the same on every route
3.Where the handover happens
Nothing on this website takes a key. Keys and agent approvals go through the connect page of your client dashboard, after you sign in and pass a second factor. A key you paste there is encrypted in your browser to a key held in our cloud key store; what reaches our servers cannot be read by them, and our database keeps only the key’s last four characters so you and we can tell which one it is.

4.Not sure which to pick?
Tell us the exchange and we will say which route it supports and send the exact key settings for its current screens. If a key screen looks different from what we sent, ask before you save it.
What our access can do depends on you setting the key, sub-account or agent up as described; we check what the exchange lets us check and tell you the result. Nothing on this page is investment, legal or tax advice, and any engagement is under a written agreement.
